May 2nd, 2009- Trip to Laguna Beach

Saturday we went to Laguna Beach to see Devin's friend Adam. It was a good time! The boys played beach volleyball and Ashley just layed in the sun. This was the baby's second trip to the beach. The first trip was to Oceanside Beach. After the beach we went and ate at Chipotles and sat there for awhile before heading home. The journey home was not so fun. We got held up in traffic and didnt get home until like 12:30! We really wanted Chick-Fil-A too, but they were closed. Thanks to Devin's wonderful driving, we finally made it home to watch Sports Center. It was a long day not knowing what the Cardinals score was!! They ended up losing :(
Sunday we just layed around and Devin washed his car and got ready to go back in the field. As for this week, Devin is in the field until Thursday and Ashley is sitting at home waiting patiently for him to get back!

1st Blog Post

We have known each other for a very long time and were Middle School Sweethearts. We always knew we wanted to get married to each other and did so on August 8th, 2008. Right after high school, Devin went into the Marine Corps. Ashley went to school to become an LPN and works at a nearby hopital. We live in Twentynine Palms, CA due to the Marine Corps, not by choice! Soo enough about our history- In October 2008 we found out the news that we would were expecting a little one. The due date was set at June 18, 2009. Thanks to a wonderful OB Dr. at Ashley's work, he did a complimentary ultrasound for us to find out the sex of our baby (we would have had to wait another 5-6 weeks to find out on base). We found out on Jan. 22nd that we were having a little boy, and that our due date was pushed back to July 4th! We have decided to name him Connor Andrew Bullard! :) As for now, we are just awaiting his arrival!
